Holiday and Daily Pet Checks

Always There Pet Care provides a service that frees you from the worry of how to look after your pets while you are away. As dog owners ourselves, we know how hard it is if you have to go somewhere for the day, and cannot take your dog with you. We can visit your dog once or twice in the day and take him/her out for a 30min or a 1hr walk to the countryside, beach or park.

They will be transported inside our fully equipped, secure van. We can water, feed, check their health and security, and make a fuss of them, leaving you with the knowledge that they are safe and well until you return that evening. Alternatively we can collect your dog in our fully equipped van and keep him/her with us for the day, or for the duration of your holiday. We will care for your pet as though he/she was our own, but are fully insured if anything unforeseen was to occur. Please note that dogs should not be left alone overnight.

Instead of putting your cat/cats in the stressful environment of a cattery while you are away on holiday, or if you are just out for the day, we can come to your home, to give companionship, to change litter, water and to feed. We can also administer any medication if necessary.

We can take care of any other pets you may have at home e.g. chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits etc. Your animals can stay in their own environment and surroundings and can receive the same routines and loving care that they would normally receive. We can carry out any other instructions such as watering plants, greenhouses, putting out rubbish, caring for aviaries, ponds, etc. We are fully insured and are a member of the Pet Care Trust, to which we adhere and support their strict code of practice. We will come to your house to meet you and to make friends with your pets before you go away and discuss your requirements.

Prices start from £14 for the first visit, including travel time and at least 30 minutes spent with your pet/pets.
